In making your custom Italian Nappa leather necklace or bracelet, you choose from black, chocolate, saddle brown or silver colors.  You even choose the ends you want on your fine Nappa leather necklace or bracelet, including the length, making it all your own custom creation!

 

Why should you spend the extra money for Italian Nappa Leather? 

First let us tell you and then we'll show you why it's so great and worth every dime!  Nappa leather is a supple, full grain leather made from unsplit sheepskin or lambskin. Each strand of braided Nappa leather is folded before braiding, insuring a smooth edge to each strand and gives a consistent color throughout. Nappa braided bolo leather is perfect for fine jewelry, giving each piece a luxurious look and soft, smooth feel on the skin.

The samples shown here are taken from 4mm bolo braids and we have photographed the underneath sides. 

1. The one on the top is our Italian Nappa bolo leather and we've lifted one side to show you how both sides of it are glued and folded over to meet in the middle of the strand - thus - no edges and it ensures the kid-glove smoothness on your skin.
2. The one on the bottom is our Indian bolo leather and while it is excellent in it's own right, it is cut in a strand and no edges are folded over leaving edges that are not as smooth to the skin as the Nappa bolo leather is.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: 4mm braid is 5/32" wide and don't forget to include the outside dimension of the cap that goes on the outside of the leather, if you are planning to put a pendant on this item.  Using a "clip-on" bale for your pendant is ideal!
